You have quite a big mouth for such a small... dwarf. Didn't your mother teach you manners? As for your two comrades, yes i've seen them, they where walking down this path.

The dwarf squints his eyes and says slowly: "Sure" And continues: "Now, drop that sword, and don´t make a move we don´t like, or we shoot."

Drop my sword? Why would i do a stupid thing like that?

ooc: if this conversation starts to get too slow paced for you guys please say so, personally i don't mind but i can imagine it's not that exciting for the rest...

They shoot their crossbows. Alerted by the pirate´s movements, Hulgyr is able to dodge one, but the second penetrates the armor and sinks an inch in his shoulder. With a cry, they draw their weapons and the battle starts.

[ooc: The rules don´t fully support what I did, or more exactly is kind of a grey area, but I think it was justified now. Anyway, the combat starts, and luckily, the entire party has the initiative (Roddick - Hulgyr - Eroin - Wilhelm, if the exact order is important) The combatant´s situation is linear enough, so I don´t think a map is needed, but I´ll make one if you want.

Wilhelm removes himself from hiding and starts running toward the battle, crossbow in hand. (flatfooted but +2 to AC vs ranged attacks).

While Roddick and Wilhelm run, Eroin is taken by surprise by Hulgyr´s, who with orcish speed charges (since he was 40 feet away) and sinks his huge sword into the dwarf with a simple, brutal, and unblockable overhead swing. The dwarf falls to the ground with a wet thud. Eroin runs, jumps and extends her leg to kick one of the pirates in the face, but falls so badly that almost fall prone in front of them. Blood runs from the two remaining pirate´s faces, and quick as hares, they turn and run in the tent´s direction.
