Write Books, any good rules?

I am playing with a character who has a decent amount of knowledge and perform writing. However we never did make any rules to determite how well wrote a book is when a PC makes it.

Do any of you have some rules to work out the quality of a book with both knowledge and perform skills involved?

I've used Craft (Writing) for a character with literary skills before. This is also what d20 Modern uses. That means it's Intelligence-based, which is the stat I think it should be. I'd certainly think that relevant Knowledge skills for what you're writing about would provide a synergy bonus to the Craft check.
