Wulf's Trailblazer project needs you!

Wulf Ratbane and Glassjaw are doing a Trailblazer monster book, and are only about $80 $55 away from funding the project with three more days to go. If this is the kind of thing you're interested in, consider kicking in a few dollars to fund the project and get a pdf/book! Trailblazer is one of my favorite recent acquisitions; I'm looking forward to the monsters quite a bit.

It's such a wonderful, creative book. Coolest thing since 1E's Unearthed Arcana.

After this monster book is finished, I hope dearly there is motivation enough to try a similar patronage project for a Trailblazer-style handling of spells! I got the money right here waiting to be committed to such a future project.

It's definitely not a question of motivation but time. Speaking for myself personally (although I know Wulf feels the same), especially given the support for the monster book, we have motivation to write a magic/spells book, a second player's book with new classes and options, and ideas for additional monster books.

The monster book is a big step in that direction - it's quite an undertaking.

Personally, I would like to see more Action Point Enhancements. Those wouldn't require an entire book. Maybe just a pdf for another (gasp) $5.00.

Hey, wow, thanks P-Cat. Just now seeing this thread.

We've reached the funding goal-- but we can still accept pledges up to the deadline.

Which means if you want in, at any level, now's the time to do it!

I've been touting the virtues of the $50 and $75 levels as cool gfits for your gamer buddies ("Most deaths by owlbear? Congratulations! I'm sponsoring the owlbear in your name!) or your DM ("Ok, you rat-bastard, I think everyone deserves exposure to the trillith.")

My brother pledged $75 the other day and although he's not a gamer, I think he intends to let my little nephew play "Monster Designer"-- just like his uncle. I think that's also a pretty cool idea!
