X-files movie #2?

Well then, just don't watch it. Its much easier to avoid now that its not on any major networks during any key timeslots and you'll have to shell out actual money to see it in the only venue where you'll be able to see it again. Honeslty I think the show peaked with the first movie. I'll welcome the second. But whatever...

Another X-Files movie, with Mulder and Scully instead of Dogget and Reyes? I'll be there! My spousal unit knows full well that a certain FBI MD is on my list of hotties...

I took it for granted that there would be another movie. I mean, given that Cancer Man dropped that little bomb on Mulder and Scully right at the end of the series finale, it's kind of inevitable, or so I thought.

I just really, really hope they don't continue with Mulder seeing his dead enemies/allies. If he whispers, "I see dead people," I swear I'll walk right out of the theater. :D

When they ended the series they said that it would be more like a one-off episode when and if they did another movie. Personally I don't se how that's even possible, given that Muldur is now a fugitive and the world is down to, like 8 years before the final invasion. I mean at this point he can't really put his agent suit back on and start hunting vampires again. It was more like a season finale than a series finale, so they'll need to address the place where the series ended before they can really go back to investigating the paranormal.

I kind of got the feeling that the final episode was kind of the final stretch of this journey of discovery Muldur was on since the beginning of the show. Here at the end, the dead people were there as spiritual guides to lead him to the final secret. but I agree with you. If the Lone Gunment suddenly become his invisible friends, I'm going to walk out and start watching Alias.

Dogget and Reyes were great additions to the show, and I would be very dissapointed if they didn´t make it to the white screen.

I wouldn't mind seeing cameos of them, if for nothing else than so we can see what's gone down in the FBI since Mulder and Scully skipped town, but as main characters they never clicked for me.
