[Xbox] Dungeons & Dragons Heroes review

Also, reviewers tend to trend to the mainstream and definitely have favorite genres of games they like to play. The complaints I read about (no on-line feature, etc.) were very overrated. If you want a fun four player Hack and slah game (along the lines of BG:DA for the console) thats what you've got here.

Very addicting, like the original arcade Gauntlet games.

ps. For RPG try SW:KOTOR - great great game.

I agree with you Keia on both accounts. My husband and I bought the game this weekend and couldn't stop playing it. We are planning on asking our PnP group if they wanna play sometime. It certainly is a great alternative in giving the current DM a break with the opportunity for all to play.

I was EXTREMELY disappointed the PS2 version was dropped in favor of Xbox only for this game. It was already far into development. I have a feeling Microsoft paid someone off to get exclusivity on this one...

the game was lots of fun, played it all weekend and it was a blast. My only complaint was the end level was too easy, especially the end boss. He may have been tough in solo mode, but with a group and teamwork he's a cakewalk.

Oh and the only slowdown I ever noticed was an intentional feature when people changed what there spell or missle weapon setup would be. There may have been some in other places but it wasn't noticeable to me. Though I'm not a big FPS type so maybe framerate changes aren't noticed by me really. Heck even when the cleric busted the storm of vengence(the best spell in the game hands down) at most there was a tiny drop in speed.

Knights of The Old Republic will hit the PC next month, and it looks to be good, though it also borrows heavily from its BioWare predecessors from what I understand.
Deus Ex 2: The Invisible War should be out for Christmas. I sure am hoping it makes it out in time, I was a BIG fan of the first game. Very good RPG it was.
