If it's not too late to chime in, I'll second Morrowind and KotOR for Xbox, and verify that as fun and soul-stealing as Morrowind GotY is, it locks up very, VERY much, and at some freaking inopportune times. Save after every quest point, if you can stand it.

It is to late...I've already bought both of them.

For strategy, I'm rushing right out to try Goblin Commander.

A good friend of mine that works at Gamestop recommended that one to me. Unfortunately, I've already blown through my Christmas $. My birthday's in April, so I'll probably pick it up then.

1) Has anyone played Beyond Good and Evil? The reviews I've read were very good, and the box looked interesting.

I read at Gamespot today that Circuit City is selling the PS2 version for $10 and EB is selling the PC and Xbox versions for $20, so it's to the point where there's not much reason to to just go get it.

Even though you've got KotOR already, I'll still recommend it.

Also, I'm not generally a fan of FPSs, but Halo is my favorite video game of all time. I'd definitely recommend picking it up and playing through the campaign, then hook up with some friends for some of the the best multiplayer ever!

And now she bought D&D Heros for Valentine's Day. Of course, since she loved Road Rage so much, I picked her up Hit and Run.

I'd second Halo for your birthday. Rent it and try it out. I'm not a huge FPS gamer either, but Halo is just tons of fun.

Since I can't Pimp them enough I will use this oppurtunity to suggest Beyond Good & Evil and Prince of Persia the Sands of Time.

BG&E is $20, whcih is really low for such a relatively new game.
