Xen'drik Brainstorming

I have to think Carson Napier of Venus (ERB Books) - The trees were huge, massive and most cities/towns were build into them up high, it was danagerous to travel to the darkness of the ground due to monsters. Travel was done by air sled or tree branches, which could make for an interesting road.

Hmmm... think of that time-travel movie where the surviving humans lived in bee-hive like places on the insides of large cliffs over the river, the surface was riddled with grimlock like beings who could disappear into the ground...

Also, for movies, think 'Congo', the lost city/king solomon's mines guarded by feral gorilla's (dire gorilla's anyone?)...

If you have the Nyambe sourcebook, pillage that for ideas as well...

well it seems that a Xendrik book is coming out---dont think i can wait that lng though :)

Keith has said on many occasions that there are no plans to release any books that "reveal the secrets" of Xendrik - something about leaving it a "dark continent" that DM's can take any direction they want to. Having said that the computer games are set in Xendrik and I guess they could easily produce adventures set in bits of Xendrik without revealing the whole thing.

Cheers
