I'm stuck between three moves that all sound like quite a lack of power...

I can't use...
The cherry blossom sings underneath the temple; quells the thrust of the fortification!

without well uh... singing. Though it does seem reasonably possible to quell the thrust with it :).

Now then I could...
The unicorn dodges close to the labyrinth; absorbs the punch of the lash!

Dodging is good, but you don't dodge to absorb a punch...

Or even...
The panther seeks on top of the city; dodges the speed of the abomination!

And of course dodging the speed of the Abomination (a pretty tough descriptor) sounds tempting, but what the hell does a fighter type character do about seeking on top of a city? Huh? Do you KNow!?

So I have decided to (despite my characters sheer lack of singing ability) unleash:
The cherry blossom sings underneath the temple; quells the thrust of the fortification!

"I like swords,
Swords are shiny,
I like shinies,
and swords."

"My sword is shiny,
and It is shiny,
like shinies,
it is a sword"

"Shiny Shiny,
shiny Shiny,
shiny shiny,
shiny shiny."

"Sword chucks,
yo,
Sword chucks,
yo"

"I like sword chucks,
yo."

"I like sword chucks, yo!"

OOC: :D

The lotus blossom rends the castle; quells the slash of the flower!

Flowers hmmmm. Well you can sing and I'll destroy the castle.

My Defense: quells the thrust of the fortification
Kal's Offense: The lotus blossom rends the castle

LOL, somehow the two of us are fighting against a fortress all of a sudden...

Kal's Offense: The lotus blossom rends the castle
My Offense: The cherry blossom sings underneath the temple

So wait... double pun... We're fighting a castle with flowers...

BTW: Kal was the one that pointed this one out to me...

"Fitting that you both should pay tribute to the order of the Black Rose - but PLEASE, no more singing..."
