Y-The Last Man is a well written book.

What's it about?...Well, something happens to wipe out all male species from the planet Earth, EXCEPT one guy and his pet monkey (who's male).

The book is a 12-issue miniseries. I think issue 8 is the most recent.

It's superb; I've been following it since the first issue.

It's about a fairly normal, regular guy named Yorick. His only real oddity is that he is an escape artist. Then suddenly every single man on the face of the planet falls over simultaneously, except for him - and he has no idea why. He tries to find out, and thus makes his way into an America where women are picking up the pieces - some of them better than others.

When the series was first announced it was a 12 issue mini-series. But that seems to have changed, it's monthly....cool.
