(YB!) Gerrett the Summoner Vs. Pool (Bones Judging!)

Rathan

First Post
Gerrett showing great frustration uses his arcane powers to summon a dragons once more from the skies... this time he plans his attack carefully as not to allow his opponent to use a proper defense and launches his attack quickly to catch him off guard...

The dragon devastates the ravine; shields the blood of the sickle!

As Pools leg flies back to join rest of the mass, its head tips back a bit to see the big lizard falling towards him. The surface of Pools skin takes on a fractalized, crystaline appearance and starts fracture. A searingly cold bluish light begins shining through the fissures in the once fluid form and even the red pinpoints of the eyes take on the cerulean shade. Right before the dragon strikes, the light intensifies and Pool explodes into a million jagged, icey shards and glittering flakes that fire out in every direction in an attempt to cut both the summoner and his pet into quivering ribbons and end the match.

The blizzard slashes below the peaks; leaps over the punch of the stone!

OOC - I'm not sure how close the judge thinks stone is to ravine, but there it is.

"Soooo, what do we have here? A strong offense by Gerrett against a slightly above-adequate defense, and a good offense by Pool against a somewhat below-adequate defense. Does Gerrett's greater offense outweigh his weaker defense? I don't think so. Flag and Match Pool!"

"Pool, ye gain a rank and rise to a new tier. Since it's your first tier, ye now choose a path, and a signature ability ta go with it. Ye are free to choose any of the locations or styles that exist for this time. Ye also gain 5 yen, plus the one ya won earlier this match. Your record is now 1/0.

Gerrett, ye may have lost the match, but you've turned it into a win-win situation by use of your potion of greed, providing you with 8 yen. Also, while your record may be 1/1 now, you can't lose a tier that you've attained. You remain a Dark Apprentice 1.
"

With that, the remaining skulls and bones of the judge burst into dust.
