(YB) Samidare defeats Ecureuil (strategy)

*i find Ecureuil's insults more biting*

Greenish energy pulses around the jar and the liquid inside begins to swirl. Six wooden posts erupt from the ground, three black and three brown.

*you will fight while standing on these posts*
*ecureuil will only stand on the black posts*
*samidare will only stand on the brown posts*
*as you lost each point one of your posts will retract or one of your enemy's post will rise*
*you may only stand on your posts*
*if you fall or if you have no posts to stand on you lose*
*begin samidare you go first*

Samidare leaps atop a brown post. "Very well," he says, "here I am! And here is my hand of moves:

"1: The tricky thunder crushes the atoll; parries the punch of the mountain!

"2: The northstar bows across the pillars as it leaps next to the pole; kicks above the chi of the settlement!

"3: The dragon dodges underneath the desert; guards against the edge of the feline!

"4: The scorpion tramples the waterfall; leaps over the pain of the abomination!

"5: The oak destructively charges the cemetery; wards off the motion of the bird!"

He then bows to Ecureuil. "Present your hand of moves, furry one!" he shouts. "Then we shall fight!"

Ecureuil nods, and leaps nimbly on top of one of the posts of his color.

1: The unicorn brutally becomes one with the temple; conceals the onslaught of the sky!

2: The blizzard punches the bluff; avoids the rising of the cave!

3: The trident powerfully invades the brush; protects against the beauty of the sickle!

4: The hammer drifts below the bluff; protects against the pain of the bone!

5: The oak swims below the canyon; protects against the edge of the shell!

Leaping up into the air, Samidare does a backflip and kicks downward at his opponent. As he does so, he utters a powerful kiai shout, charging his limbs with inner chi!

The blizzard punches the bluff; avoids the rising of the cave!

Ecureuil attempts to avoid the strike by leaping out of the way and landing atop a different black post, while hitting Samidaire with his tail as he goes.

The trident powerfully invades the brush; protects against the beauty of the sickle!

Ecureuil leaps up off of his post, and glides down into his opponent with the full force of his weight behind his fall.

 

[Ciaran]

Though his small, furry foe strikes with the power of the mountain, Samidare moves to parry his assault. He then retaliates with a sequence of tricky feints that culminates in a thunderous kiai shout and a sudden, crushing blow.
