(YBA) Sharlea, Laith and Diaochan in Wicht's lair

well - you see 6 when you begin to attack but as event will show there are unfortunately more. Heh - I thought you said you had done your homework - Kalath ran away from these tykes. I had expected you to steer clear of this tomb. :)

As Sharlea attacks the child snarls and now it is clear that in place of normal teeth, the waif has razor sharp needle like fangs filling its mouth. Two more children pop into view snarling.

"I want to eat." whines the small 4 year old boy and bites Sharlea on the leg drawing blood.

powers Dirty Trick, Shove, Chair Shot.

ooc - sharlea already attacked, but the order of combat here is Laith and diaochan first. Then the waifs, then Sharlea. There are 8 waifs, indicate which you wish to attack. If you wish to wisely run, the adventure will pick up the next day at the cemetery gate. For what its worth I will give experience for any killed before you run.

Guys and gals, if you think we should just run now, then say so. With 8 shoves and 8 chair shots, they could keep all 3 of us completely occupied for 2 and 2/3 rounds while probably destroying you two (one chair shot on each of the first two rounds).

Wicht, if I remember right then as long as one of us is still conscious when we decide to run, then all 3 would be assumed to make it back to safety? Too bad I'll lose that day of the Hammer, but I really doubt if we can beat these little monsters here and now.

As for homework, I didn't have the time to read EVERYTHING in all those threads, so I skimmed it just enough to draw a map where others had been. I didn't read into it enough to see that this place was not vanquished yet. For that matter, I didn't know that this tomb was the same as the first tomb on the left inside the main gates. My map is obviously a little off.

ok - the good news - these waifs can't kill anyone so you are in no danger of dying. The bad news is that they are an annoying encounter that you likely can't outlast. So destroying is a bit strong. :)

As far as running, if the whole group runs or is knocked out of the fight, then the whole group can regroup later. It would only be if one or two ran and the other(s) stayed behind that a split would occur.

And the fact you had not read everything is fine Pheonix it was just you seemed so confidant of where you were going. ;)

True, they can't kill since they have no capability to make a multi point attack. But they sure would be a pain in the arse! If turtle wants to run as well, then I'll do the same. If you two want to try to fight a little first, we might be able to earn a little XP before running. Sharlea will go either way in this case.

Confident of where I was going, yep. Just trying to uncover new areas that wern't filled in on my map already. Now we have filled in about 1/4 of my map pretty solidly(the south-west quadrent). Maybe the graveyard isn't the place for lower level fighters.

((if not the graveyard then where should we be going?))

Diaochan turns around to attack the waif blocking their way out (the one that appeared behind us).

"You kids lack proper respect for your elders..."

Diaochan opens her fan, which says "Filial Piety" and moves to attack...

BOOT TO THE HEAD!

The mongoose seeks atop the cemetery; blocks the rising of the earth!
