Yee-haw! MOUS Master certification!

I just took all five MOUS tests today (Expert Excel and Word, Core Access, Powerpoint, and Outlook), and passed them all with flying colors. The only one that I was close to flunking was PowerPoint, but that's because PP has a minimum passing score of 84% (as compared to Outlook's 60% or Excel's 75%). But since I scored at least 90% on each test, no problems.


Now I've got something I can toss on my resume'. Maybe THIS will help me get a job...

good luck, its been tough with the job rate in and near the bay area.

I've been lucky and have been able to keep a crappy contracting job for the last year. i hate it and am constantly sending out resumes but it pays the bills.

My current contracting job, with the County of Napa, ends Friday. And I just lost two days because of a dang cold. Dangit, that's money I need.

The Napa Chamber of Commerce has set up a job training/placement alliance to get people who are certified in Microsoft Office (albeit, at the Core level, not the Master level) and can handle basic webpage maintenance/design.

Now I just have to wait for them to install Microsoft FrontPage on their computers. I've been waiting a week, hopefully they'll have it installed tomorrow night.
