You know what I'd like to see go away?

Feats prerequisites that are useless with the advanced feat. For example about half the unarmed feats ever printed require power attack as a pre-req. Even though you cannot power attack with unarmed combat. Why? For the love of Bruce Lee, why?

Yay, less feats for a character overall, but each feat has heroic, paragon, and epic uses :)

Like:

Toughness
Heroic: You gain +5 hit points.
Paragon: You gain +10 hit points.
Epic: You gain +15 hit points.

That could be a real nice way to reset the "sweet spot" between tiers.

Indeed, I'm hoping for that.
Also, get rid of feats that are pretty useless. +2 to to related skills is silly to spend a feat on. +5 or some special ability might be worth it. Even if not, get rid of the huge number of +2 to this, +2 to that and have one feat that gives you +2 to whatever 2 skills you want at the time.

I agree that +2/+2 feats should go, no real need for them. Skill Focus should incorporate taking 10 rogue's ability.

Skill Focus
Heroic: +3 with one skill.
Paragon: Can always take 10.
Epic: roll twice whenever making skill check and choose better result.

At first, feats as prerequisites of other feats and feat chains seemed a good idea.

But when every single fighter has to take Power Attack just because otherwise has doesn't have access to a large share of the printed feats, then there is something wrong with feat trees having only a single root.

I would like to see more flexible prerequisites, such as "X feats of type Y". Minimum level and minimum ability score can still be used as prerequisites.

I like the Iron Heroes way of doing it. More feats to choose from, and more feats total built in. You take the base feat, then pick and choose feats in the chain that you want, so no feats have more than one prereq feat to take, and you'd want to take the base feat anyway.

Not I. I want to see level play less of a role. Ideally, I would like to see level be limited to gaining and improving skills, gaining new feats (and talents if they are implemented), improving ability score, gaining new spells, and multiclassing . I'll tolerate automatic bab and saving throw increases w/ level gain, but I would rather the former be done as skills.
