D&D 5E your a wizard what are your must have spells prepared (say up to level 10)

cool. have never used absorb elemements or false life. hmm will have to look more closely at those

Totally depends on level and character type, but some staples tend to remain throughout:

Absorb Elements, Shield
Misty Step
Fireball
Polymorph
Wall of Force

These are pretty much my go-to spells, although I might swap Polymorph for Greater Invisibility. 4th level spells are really tough to pick from!
