Your best tribute builds?

Anyone who enjoys creating builds even if they dont end up playing them has at one time or another about creating a build resembling an icon or popular character.

Here I would like to see what people can come up with for no other reason than to "oooh" and "aaaah" at them.

Is it a D&D tribute (ie Venger perhaps)
Is it a Comic tribute (ie Spiderman, Batman or Wolverine)
Is it a Movie tribute (ie a Jedi, a Sith, Indiana Jones)
Is it a Real Life tribute (ie Mike Tyson, Micheal Jordan)

The best one I came up with but no longer have it was for a Sith Hybrid Swordmage / Sorceror that would never have worked as a character but on paper looked pretty scary

I'm sure I'm forgetting some, but one that stands out in my memory is a Hybrid Illusionist Wizard|Feylock, built as tribute to Jareth, the Goblin King.

Did he dance???
Or did he just make babies dance?

You remind me of the babe.
What babe?
The babe with the power
What power?
The power of voodoo.
Who do?
You do
Do what?
Remind me of the babe!

Homage characters?

I did a 3.5Ed delver/archaeologist- Rgr/Ftr/Diviner/Spellsword with a whip... a tripper/disarmer. Didn't like vermin (instead of snakes). IOW, a cross between Zula from Conan The Destroyer (Grace Jones' character) and Indiana Jones.

I KNOW I'm not alone in designing a Batman PC.

I've done multiple (unplayed) versions of Wolverine- usually as Gnome or Halfling Barbarians- but with an element of Sonic the Hedgehog in that they wear spiked armor and so forth.

I did a Lone Ranger build: The Gnome Ranger, who rode a Giant Space Hamster named Mithril, and who used twin repeating hand-crossbows with silver-tipped bolts.

Major Mosquito from a playtest of GURPS: Vampire who was a riff on The Tick.

In my "as yet unplayed" file is a 4Ed PC called Hellbox: A warforged Infernal Warlock/Battlemind of some kind, based on an amalgam of Hellboy and the LeMarchant boxes from the Hellblazer stories- he was a humanoid-formed LeMarchand box, designed to be a portal to the lower planes...but who gained sentience and rebelled against his purpose.

I haven't sat down to flesh it all out, but the Executioner ("Essassin") looks like it gets you a long way towards Batman. You have to say he chooses to do non-lethal damage and would take feats related to unarmed combat.
