Your experience in these classic/iconic encounters

Hill Giant Steading, the entire party seemed to have a few pinches of dust of disappearance, and they all went invisible, except, paradoxically, the Cleric and Magic-User. The timing was perfect, just as the invisible Rogue, Ranger and Fighter were getting into position in the grand hall, the Cleric and Mage opened the door, freaked and cast Confusion. The party members ended up being affected before the giants, and did random crazy things, while the Mage and Cleric ate a lot of boulders. The Cleric put up Blade Barrier just in time for the halfling rogue (whose player was *insanely* pissed at the Mage for ruining his Backstab) rolled 'attack caster' and cheered, running (still invisible, as his last two rounds had been 'stand around doing nothing') right through the blade barrier to end his move 5 ft. in front of the Mage, unable to attack. The next round he rolled 'wander away' and went right back into the Blade Barrier and died.

By this point the Fighter and Ranger had been clubbed to death by a dozen Hill Giants, and the Wizard had been bouldered into unconsciousness. The Cleric Word of Recalled himself and the unconscious Mage to safety and the two of them swore a vow to never speak of that day again...

Is there a list of more modern classic encounters? Because I recognize many of the ones posted in the OP, but never played any.
Feel free to make a thread asking about more recent class encounters. I don't plan to patent the question idea until next week. So if you post something this week, it can be grandfathered in, and you won't owe me a fee. ;-)

These "shared adventure" experiences were one of the great strengths of the older editions.
I don't think this is an older edition thing. It's an iconic adventure thing.

AD&D1 and B/XD&D have several iconic adventures. (But also many non-iconic adventures.) I know D&D3 has the iconic adventure path, plus the Dungeon magazine ones. I assume AD&D2 and D&D4 has something similar, but I don't know what they are.
