Your "To Buy" List

What to buy, what to buy...

Must Haves

  • Arcana Evolved
    Transcendance (Player's Companion for AE)
Lords of Madness (oh yes, oh yes. Ia! Ia!)

Seriously Considering

  • Wilderlands of Fantasy Boxed Set (I use the original edition maps as the maps for my campaign.)
Races of Eberron (As I use the Changelings, Shapers and Warforged in my campaign.)
Requiem for a God (With the adoption of AE, there's a gonna be some housecleanin'.)
Iron Kingdoms World Guide (I have the Player's guide, great for idea mining.)

When Fiscally Appropriate

  • Ars Magica- Rhine Tribunal book
Ars Magica- Dragon and Bear, Russian Tribunal book (Love the game and I have a scenario set up for those two areas.)
    Monsternomicon 3.5 (I have 3.0, and I don't have a specifically IK game.)

I'm also debating on whether to buy the house next door in a couple days, so that could throw the whole list off-kilter.

I am in a 3.0 nostalgia period, and the books I am very likely going to buy are the Oriental Adventures, plus the Rokugan setting books (Rokugan, Magic of Rokugan, Creatures of Rokugan). I would like another setting as well, but Forgotten Realms seems to me too crunch-oriented (although I already have Faith & Pantheons). Basically I am just waiting for good discount opportunities to pick up these older books at half price or something.

About upcoming books, I may be interested in the Dungeon Master's Guide II and the Weapon of Legacy, but of course there is still a lot to find out about what these books really are. I won't buy them quite soon anyway, I prefer to wait for lower prices unless they turn out to be seriously great & useful for us.
