Level Up (A5E) Yuan ti

What to you makes 5.5 monsters better? Are you talking about statblocks, or other text? Because I feel all the non-statblock info in the A5e entries in particular are miles ahead of any other 5e monster product.
I just meant the statblocks. A lot of them, especially casters, are very cluttered since they print out the mechanics for all the spells. The A5E lich is almost two full pages long for just the statistics! But yeah, if you're looking for more robust lore and narrative aids then the recent Monster Manual is... not going to be a big boon.

As an avowed fan of full spell-casting for NPCs, I certainly prefer real spells to WotC's "abstract magic shorthand", but there's definitely more than one way to do it.
