From what I have found over the net, Raziel was a powerful archon sent in Baator to keep the Gates of Hell. She became corrupted by the plane itself, and was thus the first lord of the first layer of the Nine Hell.
She has been deposed and imprisoned by Bel, who is now draining her of her essence to power himself.
That's rougly all that I know.
I plan to use this character in one of my game, where she will be deeply linked to one of the PC ( a tiefling which will be one of the two only beings having a part of her blood in her veins, not because she is her ancestor, but because her actual (but, alas, tainted by the putrid water of the styx river, and one or two drops of Vrock's blood...) blood has been used to create the tiefling. More precisely, Raziel's essence being slowly drained and thus "erased" from her prison in Baator, the PC will soon "harbor" the remain of her essence inside her own body and soul.
Since Bel has some ennemies, too, I plan (when the PCs will be high level enough) to use another devil who will try to "resurect" Raziel from the PC, through some unholy birthing ritual.
So, in the end, Raziel will be free, and will be, somewhat, both the "mother" and the "daughter" of the PC.
Why am I speaking of all this stuff ? Because I have a hard time figuring how will look the "new" Raziel, when she will be freed. She is a fallen celestial ; has spent an unknow number of years emprisoned ; will have been "imprisoned" in a "mortal" body for some other years, where she will fight against both the PC spirit and the demonic taint from the Styx water and the Vrock's blood), has lost most of her essence and power (but will still be powerful), and, last but not least, the ritual that will give her a new life and body will probably "consume" some pure beeing (such as a young virgin, or something like that), but it will be somewhat "botch" (I like when everything goes wrong for everybody
).
So, what I'm asking for are suggestion for what the new Raziel will looks like (appearence and behaviour) ? I have a few idea, but would like to have someone else opinion about this.
Oh, and if you think this plot is silly and should be done another way, please express yourself

) is really weakened when the campaign will start, not able anymore to cause cataclysm and turmoil.
