[ZNG] Fantasy Cartography podcast #4!

From a Publishing standpoint, these tutorials are invaluable.

I wonder if you've thought about doing a subscription service on rpgnow or whichever online store you sell from?

I'd definately pay for these.

I'm considering some different options for something like that; a DVD offered through Lulu.com is a possibility!

Lulu puts out dvds?

That's pretty cool!

You have at least one sale, regardless of however you choose to release this material.

Have you considered a yahoo group for discussion about these tutorials?

I love the tutorials thank you.

If I have any constructive criticism it is only that you should consciously speak clearly and a little slower when you say your website name. You, of course, are super comfortable with the phrase and I think you rush it, ahead of the ears of your viewers. I imagine thats counter productive :).

Thanks! If you've enjoyed the podcasts, there's no reason you shouldn't enjoy the book too. If you've looked at the last couple of Photoshop tips I've done over on my website (layer masks and vector masks), you'll know what to expect from the book as far as the tone and style goes.

If it seems like there's sufficient demand for it, sure!

Thanks, I will try to keep that in mind! I keep thinking I should include the website name in the opening credits (such as they are), but I'd hate to think that folks feel like they're being overly shilled-to. (Which probably means I'm not shilling nearly enough... I'm not much of a marketing guy, I guess. :p )

Oh I'm definitely buying this book. No doubt about it.

I wouldn't worry too much about that. You are creating free, and very useful, podcasts on your own time...the least us viewers can do is watch a little advertising our way. :D

The quality and usefulness of the podcasts are good advertising for your book anyway, but more explicit adds would be more than justified, IMO.
