Okay, gang...

Have there been any published D&D, or similar fantasy rpg, zombie-centric games or adventures? Like along the lines of The Walking Dead based in a fantasy setting? Thanks in advance.

There's a pretty cool book called OGL Horror by Mongoose Publishing, for running just about any horror campaign in a modern setting. Its perfectly serviceable for running a zombie campaign. It basically follows Pathfinder/3.5/D&D Modern rules, but with the purchase DC system, which I dislike. (and it has a couple of spelling errors and some mediocre art). It includes some sample adventures though, and it has a broad range of use for all types of horror adventures.

I was helping out a friend with her 3.5 zombie campaign, and made a weapon list for her based on this book, but I looked up the actual price of all of the items, and took out the purchase DC's. If you plan to run a 3.5/Pathfinder zombie campaign, you might find this list helpful (it also has pretty pictures!).

I left out the individual descriptions of the weapons, and the rules for using firearms and such, because for that you can simply consult the OGL Horror book itself. I saw no need to literally copy paste the entire book. But I did think the lay out of all the lists was a bit clumsy, so I changed that. Ammo is now listed right next to the description of ammo types, and all weapons have a picture and a price. I also added several weapons, armors, and power tools that I felt were missing (such as a lawnmower, or the jaws of life).

I also made a zombie builder document, that helps you roll your zombie hordes. It gives random tables for the types of zombies, based on the setting. And it also lists various qualities that a zombie may have, that you can also roll for. It doesn't get more detailed than this.

The zombie loot document gives you tons of scavenge tables that you can roll on, to determine what players find. The first table is a generic simplified loot table. Just roll a D100, and that is what they find. But below it, is a list of categories, and then sub lists for each loot category.

Here's how it works. First you determine if the player has found a scavenge item, a weapon, or a generic loot item. Next you roll a D8, to determine the sub category. Lastly, find the list that matches that category, and roll a D100.
