The fifth semi-annual National Capital Area Gameday will be held on 24 and 25 October on the 4th floor of the AFT building, at the corner of New Jersey Ave and F St NW (555 New Jersey Ave, N.W., Washington DC, 20001), two blocks from the Union Station stop on Metro’s Red Line. Yes, that's right, two days this time!
Join fellow adventure, storytelling, and role-playing gamers here in the nation’s Capital for two fun-filled days of games. The event, held in conjunction with ENworld, one of the world’s largest RPG fan communities, is free to all participants thanks to the generous support of the gameday organizers.
Schedule:
Saturday 9am: Doors open
Saturday 10am to 2pm: Morning session games
Saturday 2pm to 3pm: Lunch break
Saturday 3pm to 7pm: Afternoon session games
Saturday 7pm+: Group dinner (more info will be posted shortly)
Sunday 9am: Doors open
Sunday 10am to 2pm: Morning session games
Sunday 2pm to 3pm: Lunch break
Sunday 3pm to 7pm: Afternoon session games
Game Masters will be able to start posting their games on Tuesday, September 15th. Games should be posted at the DC Gameday forum at ENWorld following the designated format.
There will be two sessions each day, so designate Saturday AM, Saturday PM, Sunday AM, and Sunday PM for your games.
Player signups for the games will commence on Friday, September 25th at 7pm.
Please visit our forums to sign up. If you’re not already a member, you’ll need to sign up for a free account. Because the AFT building is a secure facility, the gameday organizers will also need to know your first and last name before the gameday begins. If you plan to attend, please send your first and last name to dcgameday@gmail.com.
In any event, I'm working on getting some more new folks on board, both as attendees *and* GMs. Everyone should keep coming back after today's sign-up rush to see new games as they get added so they can register for those, in case there's more attendees than games offered.
And I'll probably run another game, and some other folks have mentioned adding additional games.
I posted also on CM, but how are we set for games running? We have enough? I could run my Dread game, like SUn night if we needed more
I'd post it, if I were you, unless there's something in that slot you really want to try and get into. I think the more games we have, the better, and if no one signs up for a game (or not enough), the GM can always cancel it (and I'd be willing to bet we're going to have a crap ton of killer board games on hand, such as Dominion/Intrigue, BSG/Pegasus, etc.)

I'm not currently signed up for anything on Saturday morning...
