I just started Foreigner, the third book in Robert J. Sawyer's "Quintaglio" series, which takes place on the moon of a Jupiter-like planet that was seeded with dinosaur life back when they were the dominant species on Earth. It's now present day and the dinosaurs have since evolved into an intelligent race. The first book, Far-Seer, tells the story of that world's equivalent to Gallileo; the second book, Fossil Hunter, tells of the dinosaur equivalent of Charles Darwin. I read those two 20 years or so ago but never found the third in the trilogy until recently. This one seems to have the dinosaur equivalent of Sigmund Freud, although there's a plot hook about the discovery of one of the spaceships that relocated the dinosaurs to the moon all those years ago that makes me suspect the "foreigner" in the title will be a dinosaur astronaut returning to Earth. (Sawyer does enjoy his "friendly aliens visiting Earth" stories.)
