Theremin caresses Sayine on his shoulder. "You were brave my dear" he says affectionately. "Now let me see if I have something I can put on you as a bandage". He goes through his backpack and takes a handkerchief, and puts it on her to protect her wound.

Sayine nipped at Theremin when he tried bandaging her wound, like a dog or cat would, but eventually let him clean and bind it. She whimpered and curled around his shoulders, glaring at the wicked kobolds.
The kobold yelped as he was awakened with a kick by Liam. He looked around at his slaughtered and sleeping companions, and then up at Liam in fright.
“Y-Yes...speak little…” the kobold stammered out in broken Common, rain dripping from his snout. “Please no kill me!”

“We attack because boss say,” the kobold answered Corianna. He looked over at the corpse of the spear-wielding kobold. “Boss stupid.” He spat at the corpse. “Should have stayed hide in grass. He greedy. You have nice things. He want.” The kobold looked around at the other kobolds, who were starting to rouse from their sleep, surprised and afraid to find themselves bound.
“Guess me boss now.” The kobold tried scratched at a patch of white scales on his snout. “Should have just gone home to tower.” The kobold’s eyes widened and he quickly shut up.
