Second Day of Mourning Crew: You'll level soon, I promise! You guys have been doing great and this last set of skill challenges SHOULD boost you guys to the next level. The battle + skill challenges have been very exciting for me, and the RP has been great! I'm really happy with what you guys have done!

Have I really been on this site for over 20 years!
Hey guys you gotta let some of us get our first characters on adventures, before you get your second characters in.

I'm in the middle of creating my replacement for Lan and I'm in the defense section, and I've noticed that there is nothing in there to change the default base for AC from Dex/Int to something else. There are plenty of classes that allow you to change this to another stat (like Str for Sorcerer, or Con/Wis for Warden). Is there any way we can get the Defenses template updated to include something like that? Something like "|StrAC=yes"? (substitute StrAC for ConAC and WisAC, etc) for those of us who use light armor and have a class feature that changes the default?

If not, should I just set "|ArmorIsHeavy=yes" and put my bonus in the class bonus to AC? (I'm creating a warden btw)

I'd do it myself, but I doesn't has a savy :(

What I've done for my basic attacks that use a different stat is let it figure it out normally and then add the difference in the class bonus area. If I made a character that used a different AC stat, I'd do the same thing.

Yeah, but that's messy and can lead to confusion unless you put a separate note stating why the figures are the way they are. I'd much prefer it to be something innate to the template and clean. Something that will change the Attribute Type entry to the appropriate modifier name (so that it says Str or Con, or Wis instead of Dex/Int).

I completely understand if it's not a possibility, but I think if we can do it for ranged basic attacks with "|StrRAttack=yes" why not with AC or any other defense?

EDIT: Oddly enough, it does not seem as if the "|StrRAttack=yes" is working either (unless I'm just doing it wrong). It puts the appropriate #'s in the boxes and lables the attribute as being Str for the basic ranged attack, but it's not totaling it correctly.

While it WOULD be nice to have the template be able to handle stat changes, it hasn't been fixed yet and how long has PHB2 been out?

As far as messy, I see that I added it to Misc section and that has a Misc name behind it. So put the difference in the misc section and put class feature/feat in the name section. No confusion then.
