My general advice for blurbs is to keep them short and sweet, giving just enough info the tell readers what the event is about and why they would want to participate. Leo Babauta of Zen Habits makes its rule to keep all his emails to no more than five sentences. That seems to me a good guideline for con blurbs as well.

I put your first game at Table A for now, though it ideally should go at Table I. I'm just not sure if we should keep at least one minis table open for the store, though. Lemme look over the tables and see what can be done.

Hi Buzz. I'm editing my original post since, after some reflection, I think I am going to run the exact same adventure using D&D 4e Essentials rules rather than AD&D/OSRIC. I'm working on the adventure right now and its proving far easier using 4e materials, plus I think it may be the better way to go.
