"Ya durned chain!" Koregar finally gets himself to stop spinning, then plants his feet on the pillar and yanks with all his might in an attempt to break it.

As the light flooded the room, Whisper was finally able to see the situation. She was straddling an armored male dwarf with a bushy white beard. Still chained, he was connected to... a drow! "Oh, Hells!" she rasped, dropping to the ground as the dwarf yanked on his remaining chain and pulled it from the ceiling. "Ware your companion," the halfling croaked to the dwarf, eyeing the drow fearfully. Darting around the column while keeping a wide berth of the drow, Whisper noted her final companion, a younger human with some amount of magical ability judging by the magical flame he had produced. That could be helpful, she thought. Scaling up his legs and chest, she applied her picks to lock again to attempt to free her final co-captive. The more bodies between her and whatever was in that coffin the better!

Naeriss strikes his chain but does not break it. Whisper frees the last shackle, and perhaps just in time. A creature lumbers up from the coffin, blind, pale, and ugly.

After raising itself from the coffin the monster pauses for a second and smells the air. It extends its arms out and screams, a deep guttural growling sort of scream, revealing a number of shark teeth and just how bizarrely wide its mouth can extend. It seems unhappy.

Siljar's turn.

Koregar lands squarely on his buttocks, barely missing the Halflingas she jets out of the way to climb up the next body. “What? I weren’t enough for ye? Buahaha!”

He gets to his feet and turns around to face the thing thathad just come out of the coffin.

“Ye got a face only yer mommy could love, and only ‘cause she was blind, too!” he said, grinning as he fingered his battleaxe, which was thankfully still strapped to his waste. “Come o’er here, I got a nice little present for ya!”
