Dice Rolling basics
Obeliske,
Here is the Dice Roller that Charwoman Gene recommended. Coyote Code Roller
1. Name, I recommend using your ENWorld login. This let people search for rolls.
2. Number of Rolls, you can repeat Rolls - e.g., 6X 4d6.HIGH(3)
3. Rolls, note you can add rolls together and roll different sets of dice (e.g., attack and damage) - e.g., 1d20+5+1d4;1d8+3 /This is an attack roll 1d20+5+1d4 (Bless) and a damage 1d8+3
4. Notes - describe what the roll is for - e.g., character, target, type of roll
5. When you press the roll button, you will get the results and a block of code (see below) that can be pasted into your response.
Demonstration for Obeliske: 1D20+5+1D4 = [14]+5+[4] = 23
1D8+5 = [2]+5 = 7
There is a dice roller built into ENWorld, but I was not able to get it to work.
