Is Dexter a serial bird/rodent killer?

Birds rare but when he was younger he caught a few rodents 2-3 some days.

He got a mouse tonight but I let it go. That was his first for a while that I know of. Maybe two mice last 6-12 months?

He has caught a mouse every day 3 days in a row. 3-5am and he has to let us know.

This is Wilson.

Some years ago on a hiking trip I ended the day in a small village on the Portuguese coast. In my hotel room getting ready for dinner, I heard the most pathetic miaowing outside. I rushed to the window, convinced that there was a poor kitty in distress.

What I saw was a seafood restaurant across the alley, with a big fluffy cat sitting on the window sill pretending that it was starving.

This week we're babysitting a very tender little guy named Albus Dumbledore and he's so light-footed you can't hear him walking up to you.

No pictures to share, yet, but we will get a small dog after talking about it for years. I'm at home full time now and we finally have a yard. We selected a miniature Dachshund. Lots of space for the small legs to chase the pesky squirrels away!
