I guess the next step will be (D&D) gods to be replaced with "deities".
I hate to break the news to you ... but the time travelers already won.

...by bashing one of the participants in the head hard enough to knock him out..."I use my action to de-escalate the conflict"
Well, if evil orcs were the only ones wearing turbans, it could certainly be perceived as offensive. But if plenty of other people are also wearing turbans, I see no reason why an evil orc couldn't also wear one.Is offensive an evil orc wearing a turbant?
I'm inclined to agree. The syncretic nature of the English language seems to me like one of its fundamental features. As in, take that away, and you're erasing large swaths of English-language culture.TBF, English is syncretic AF - like, if English had to give back every word it ever borrowed, it'd be left with, well, what the F in "syncretic AF" stood for.
did they not also give them afros at one point for some insane reason?Or if they're --as has absolutely been done--giving the orcs turbans to signal that they're evil.
Orcs have been dressed as pretty much every offensive stereotype.did they not also give them afros at one point for some insane reason?

Dunno about class names, but if anyone wants a quick list of plug-and-play character names I've seen worse than this. The simple solution is to change the name of all classes to new made-up words that are used just for the game, and have no relation to any real world culture or religion.
