    Limiting Stacked Buffs

I agree with Vectner, the spell duration is a limiting factor and unless your PCs are 20th level the 1st buffs cast are going to end before combat even begins. BTW, what level are your PCs? Also, taking so long to cast buff spells might give the enemy a chance to overhear the spells being...

    Chunk of Meat

I seem to remember an issue of Dragon (can't remember the #) that talked about eating dragons. Supposedly the flesh of dragons contains too many heavy metal to safely consume. Of course in your campaign YMMV.

    Question about magical Item

The Thought Bottle in Complete Arcane is what you want. You can store thoughts, memories, experience or spells in it.

    Chunk of Meat

Dung beetles are insects ;) Possum I'm told however, you fill the body cavity with vegetables, boil it really good and when its done throw the veggies away because they have absorbed all the grease. Supposedly Possum meat is so greasy that's the only way to make it edible.

    Chunk of Meat

Personally I'd like to hear from the OP why his PCs are trying to sell dire rat meat. There's been a lot of speculation, but no definite answer.

    Question about the Warforged

That's a good in for you to get a look at his sheet, requiring a copy of ALL the characters. That way he won't feel singled out later, especially if you see he's been chea... um has misunderstood some rules ;)

[Humor] New spells: Filibuster and True Filibuster

You could also develop the Cloture Rules spell - a device known as cloture allows the Senate to end a debate with a two-thirds majority vote. Since Filibuster is an Immediate action, so too would Cloture ;) On March 8, 1917, in a specially called session of the 65th Congress, the Senate...

    Is anyone sticking with 3.5?

I'm sticking with 3.5. I have several hundred dollars invested in 3.5, and honestly, I don't feel there are enough problems with it to justify a totally new system.

A Kitten, or a plot line?

Hmm, gods are notoriously fickle, so the Barb could get a free raise dead from Bast, but with the price of becoming slightly cat-like; slightly feline features, whiskers, a tail.

    What is this bird, anyway?

Too bad you didn't make it a canary, you could do something like this guy. ;) http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/cc/20020401a
