"No" was probably the most unhelpful answer possible. I mean, if you want to ignore the thread altogether, fine, but posting something like that is worse than useless. I didn't think it had made it into the official errata, because I searched through that, but I was sure it had been discussed...

AU needs more love. Even though the setting is a little sketchy, it's a great concept with lots of possibilities. With Monte Cook and Mike Mearls--both in my subjective short list of best designers in the industry--working on it, it's just going to get better and better.

I think "lurk more" is a legitimate reply when the answers to all your questions can be found by paying attention to the message boards. These sorts of topics come up every now and then, and I think that posting a thread badmouthing Gary Gygax is much more offensive than telling an obvious...

Wow, someone should lurk more. Gary Gygax is most likely "revered" because he co-created an amazingly influential game--the RPG that basically every RPG since has been based on. Also, anyone with even a slight knowledge of TSR's history would be aware that Gygax was forced out of the company...

It doesn't list paid accounts. Mainly it's for annoying newspapers like LA Times and NY Times, where registration is required before you can read any of the articles. You go to bugmenot.com, enter the site URL, then use the login provided, and gain access to the articles. I was responding...

UPDATE! I finally got into the site and downloaded the freebie file for Malhavoc. I especially enjoyed the way it made my Acrobat Reader completely unresponsive for the past 10 minutes. A+++ would download again* *I'm not impressed.
