Agreed. I used to prefer Harrison's in Salem, back when Pandemonium was at that cramped location in "the Garage", but since it's been out at Central Square, Pandemonium is facile princeps. Great shop -- part of my occasional "Stations of the Cross" pilgrimage out to Cambridge.

I partly agree, but not with your specific example. Since "painting" and "sculpting" (the latter mentioned at least in the golem creation rules in the SRD) are both RAR examples of crafts, I'd assume a craftsmen can be a practitioner of the fine arts, like your portraitist or gallery artist, and...

Craft (painting). It's mentioned in the SRD in at least one place: Marvelous Pigments require a DC 15 Craft (painting) check to depict an object.

Boston is certainly a great area for schools, although most of the great ones are private. As for dogs, I see a lot of them happily romping around on the Boston Common, and there are some wonderful places to run (with or without "large dog") in and around the city: in particular, the "orbitals"...

I agree with this, although I'd say the city is actually quite racially diverse "by the numbers": recent demographics give roughly 49% "White Non-Hispanic", 25% "Black", 14% "Hispanic" and the remainder self-defining as being of some other "race" or of two or more races. Boston is, however...

In previous posts, I've been very negative about the show up to now. But I agree with all RangerWickett's points. Big improvements in plot, script, character developments, a good fight, a strangely touching ending. I no longer feel stupid for bothering with the series and am looking forward to...

This is an interesting debate. I'm going to split the difference and say that while her performance gamely vied for "the world's worst", it did indeed fall short in some respects. For me, the show continues to disappoint, but there's only so vitriolic I can be, without sounding a bit of a fool...

Unfortunately, this is my view as well. My long-running group, and the other I play in, are sticking with 3.5. I love a lot of the fluff in the APs, modules and campaign setting, but the rule changes seem like anything but an improvement.

"Ugly elf"? What the . . .? The heroic-but-angst-ridden elf, my misguided friend, was portrayed by Ray Charleson: "Crow", from the Silver Wood (now burnt and blackened, as I recall).
