The only house rule we have is that Hit-point dice are rolled by the player and secretly by the DM. If the player doesn't like his roll, he takes the DM's roll, whatever it is.

Would Weapon Specialization(Net) allow you to do 2 points of damage every time you hit someone with a net? Not really that useless it if it does. :)

Keep in mind that while a weapon proficiency is good for all sizes of weapons, characters still suffer a cumulative -2 penalty to attack rolls per size catagory different from their own.

I think any nice DM would just let them have Draconic as a bonus language, but by the RAW, the only way to get it is to spend 2 skill points to put a rank in Speak Language(Draconic). Are you sure the fastplay character didnt spend the skill points on this?
