Thank you for the feedback, everyone! I'm still leaning against Track, but it does seem like a nice outlet for having a high Survival skill. It's not in my current build, though, and it'll probably stay that way. My understanding is that you get racial bonus feats, which Track is for dogs...

Whoops -- good point, thank you. I don't think that changes the fundamental question, though -- even without scent, gaining the new form's Track feat should still do the trick (albeit not quite as well).

17 years and counting. :) I have strengths and weaknesses, but one of the keys to my continued enjoyment of GMing has been that I've never stopped learning how to be a better GM. Sounds corny, but it works. ;)

Like the most: I'd have to go with being surprised by my players -- the unexpected is always more interesting for me. Right up there with that, though, is the sense of immersion (also my favorite thing about being a player, usually), where I can visualize clearly what's happening in the game...

I'm plodding through The Historian, which is pretty underwhelming. Somehow it's managed to stay above my "I'm going to stop reading this" threshold, but not by much.

I can't remember the source, but someone once did something similar with a white dragon that was actually a "wight dragon." Dastardly. ;)

I was worried after the first ten minutes, laughing at the wrong times after twenty minutes, and thoroughly bored after an hour. Compared to other recent premieres -- like HBO's Rome, and Prison Break -- this didn't measure up well. Bleh.
