(1-5p) Festival of Dreams -fantasy Mutants & Masterminds (Space Available!)

It's ok. The other games which I had scheduled on Friday also had their schedules changed in major ways. I'll be happy with whatever, even if you just cancel the game outright.

Chuckles the Clown (Fri 9-1) (Dread)

Could be interesting. Put me down for the Goth!

(FULL!) Wed Afternoon (2-6 PM?) Shapeshifting Spacelizards: The Game

Ok. I may be a bit late in getting to the game then. We'll see how things work out!

Put me down for this one. It sounds like fun!

(FULL!) Wed Afternoon (2-6 PM?) Shapeshifting Spacelizards: The Game

Rex (1) or Elysia (2) If at all possible, could we push the game back to start at 3 (or 4 would be even better). I'm looking at a four hour trip down, plus check-in and setting up a table. If not, would it be horrible inconvenient for me to show up just a bit late to festivities?

(FULL!) Wed Afternoon (2-6 PM?) Shapeshifting Spacelizards: The Game

Right now my schedule is (unfortunately) wide open, so whenever should be good. It might be subject to change once I know the set-up and tear-down times for the artist's area, since I'll also be helping my dad there.

    Halfling Musketeers - SATURDAY 9am - 1pm. SUNDAY 9am - 1pm

Could you put me down for one of the Sunday slots? This sounds like it could be loads of fun. And it would give me an excuse to brush up on my French accent!

give me your over-arching plots NOW!!! please :)

Eberron. A thousand years before Xoriat open upon the ancient Dhakaani, a demon tried to wage a war against the goblinoid nations. A coatl, working with the best weaponsmiths of the time, crafted seven swords. Each sword was inscribed with a mystic squiggle (aka schema). When all the swords...

[Eberron] Retrieving the Macguffin from an ancient battleground

I could play the story account up two ways (and I might just use both). One account simply talks about the location of an ancient battlefield which comes to life when the appropriate plane comes into conjunction (which kinda implies that there's something tangible for people to notice). The...

[Eberron] Retrieving the Macguffin from an ancient battleground

I like it! I was having trouble figuring out how to make the battle randomly fade in and out around the PCs. Giving them some measure of control over when and where they appear during the battle is much more proactive and just feels better overall. Rather than using a straightforward map, I...

[Eberron] Retrieving the Macguffin from an ancient battleground

Setting: Khorvaire. More specifically, a set of Dhakaani ruins and the site of an ancient battle. Current thoughts are to locate them in the Talentia Plains, but I could set it pretty much anywhere that would make sense. Basically, the PCs are sent off to try and reclaim something or other...

Who's got the right stuff for League of Extraordinary Gentlemen 1990s?

Another one might be Beetlejuice. Whether he's a villain or a hero is really up in the air.

Whould you buy a system-free setting?

I love picking things up for the nature of their ability to inspire ideas. If something was suitably engaging and filled with ideas to mine, I don't see why I wouldn't (barring money, of course).

    What keeps your party together?

Current group all works for a freelance adventuring guild. They get assigned to teams and sent out on jobs. As the exact number of members of the guild is undefined, this helps with those occasions when one PC might die as a new PC can be sent in to replace a deceased party member. As an...

    Game out of World Building?

I once played in a diceless game at a con where everybody came up with a God concept and we role-played through creation under the direction of a GM. It didn't use any kind of published system though. I believe that we each had 100 points to divide up amongst as many powers as we wanted to...

    Is DM fiat okay?

Ehh...half a dozen of one, half a gross of another.

    Is DM fiat okay?

Fiat is only a problem if you don't trust your GM.
