Oh, I agree, and I appreciate it. :) I'm glad I reread the sections on bonuses before I posted him, though. I had improperly stacked bonuses all over the place with my first build.

Appearance:
Durkon is a ridiculously muscled Yak Folk with dark brown fur, the marks of the 'Eye of Profane Truths' corrupting influence are evident in his three oddly coloured eyes, antennae, feathery wings and the bony plates that cover portions of his body.

Background:
Opening his eyes, his first sight was that of the serene beautiful face of the Perfect, gazing down at his body in wonder Durkon looked up at his maker with eyes full of love and hope, then came the pain.

Doubling over Durkon vomited uselessly on the floor as his perfect body became infused with dark energies, the last thing Durkon heard was the shocked voice of the Perfect before the pain caused him to lose consciousness "The Profane Eye of Truth, it reaches out to corrupt my perfect creation, in the hopes of thwarting my plans".

Looking down upon his creation with sorrowful eyes the Perfect watches as it's flesh seems to warp and distort before his very eyes, his creation seems to swell with muscle and grow taller and thicker as each moment passes, it's flawless white skin darkens to leathery brown, dark brown fur swiftly covers it's body, it's face lengthens and takes on a bestial look reminiscent of a Yak, while two large horns emerge from the side of it's head.

As it's body continues to change a third eye forms in it's forehead, tough leathery plates emerge to cover and protect it's vulnerable areas and finally a pair of feathery wings sprout from it's back.

Gone is it's lithe graceful form, replaced instead by it's new hulking bestial body, kneeling down beside his creation the Perfect lays his hand upon it's chest "You shall be called Durkon (meaning Dark Slayer), you will be my sword against the Profane Eye of Truth, you and the others I shall create, shall search the lands to find the eye, and destroy it and its wielder, whatever the cost" a golden glow surrounds the Perfect's hand as he eases the pain the transformation left in its wake.

Opening his oddly coloured eyes, Durkon gazes upon his creator for the second time that day, where once there was joy love and peace, now all that remains, is a dark purpose that fulls his heart, that and a profound sense of loss for what he could have been.[/sblock]

No. Neither ability mentions anything about Swift actions, so it's redundant.

They've really made wild shape annoying with the new polymorph rules (any thoughts on that Rkhet? They nerfed it pretty seriously with the silly rule that the Constitution change doesn't affect your HP's).

Ignore the PHBII polymorph rules. I haven't had time to look over these in detail, and am more comfortable with the old ones.

Read the WotC Rules of the Game articles on Polymorph. I will be using those interpretations.

Those rules would be the ones I was talking about in the first place, I think they're what is in the PHBII as well.

Hrm... oh well. Ridiculous rulings from Wizards yay! Can't we just stick to the original polymorph rules? They made sense.

I meant the original polymorph articles. Not 'polymorph revisited'.

Either way, you do get Con-to-HP. And druid wildshape still refers to Polymorph, not alternate form.

Essentially, we are sticking to the original Polymorph rules, whatever they might be.

Ah cool! I didn't realize they had done a polymorph revisited RotG. Will recheck it out.

Shard v.2.1 is ready...I just didn't have time to post before I left for work.

I'll try to get home for lunch. If that fails, the absolute latest I'll be posting will be 5:30 Pacific...about six and a half hours.

Monk alignment fixed (via ninja swap). Some feat and skill rank issues addressed.

I did have to drop Improved Metamagic, sadly. Any suggestions for replacement feats? Current Epic Featload is:

Improved Spellcasting x2, Multispell.

One slot left. Spellcraft/Knowledge Arcana ranks are 29.

Quick question (and anyone who knows can answer this one): does a fiendish servant get advanced like in the Monster Manual? Or are the HD, natural armor, Str ajustment, and Int just increased and monster advancement isn't required? My fiendish servant is pretty much the last bit I require for my concept, and I want to know if I'm over-complicating things or not. Once that's done, then I can get posted on the RG.
