-=-=-= Day 6 =-=-=-

As everyone tells they are ready, Reynold start to name the contestant and the order they will enter the Maze. Once that done, he asks the first contestant, a young halfling female, to enter the Maze. Warren opens the door and led her into the Arena. Everyone else wait. It takes many minutes before Warren come back. He put back the equipment the first contestant had taken so someone else can take it if he desire so. The Halfling don’t come back yet, she is waiting on the Arena field, to prevent that she tells anything about the Maze to other contestant. One by one, each contestant is call and led outside. At some point, it is your name that is call, so you take your stock and walk to Warren.

“Please, follow me” You follow Warren to the Arena as the other see you leaving the backstage.

[SBLOCK=Deos]As you enter the Arena field, you see there field has undergone a serious transformation. Walls of stone have been erected and you can only see, you’re your point of view, a large rectangular structure. The only thing you can see that break the flat wall is a small hall with a door. It is there Warren lead you. He makes you stand in front of a line and you see the door in front of you.

“As soon as you cross that line, we will start to count the time you’ll be in the maze. I remind you that you can’t climb over the wall to reach the next room or to check what is coming next, but as long as you head doesn’t go higher than the top of the wall, you can do what you want. You can enter when you want.”

After a quick moment you cross the line and open the door.

-=-=-= Room 1 =-=-=-
As you enter the room, you see room twenty feet by twenty feet. The walls are crudely made, not like the one you’ve seen on the outside. They are full of handle and holes. In front of you, you see a wooden door with a silvery lock. Above you, you see there is no roof, as they have told you, and you can easily see the tribune. It is then you finally realize that something was bugging you and you understand what, you don’t hear the crowd. Probably a silence spell cut the sound from the crowd. As you step forward, you hear a small squeaky sound. You see a rat that quickly run into one of the hole. You also see a magpie that has been scared by the rat flying to a small hole in the top of the wall.

-=-=-= Room 1 - Round 3 =-=-=-
The floor is a stone floor and is a bit dusty. The wall have many holes. Most of them seems small and don't go very far. You could barely put your fist in them. Other are larger, some are deeper but you can't see the end from your point of view. For the Magpie hole, it seems small (a bit larger than a fist) and deep, but you can see the end as it is high on the wall. The rat's hole is partially hidden by the relief of the wall from where you are standing but seems larger.

That is all you know from the first observation you did on round 2 (round 1, you entered the room). You still have to act on round 3.

-=-=-= Room 1 - Round 3 =-=-=-
Deos cross the room and stop in front of the door. He try to open it, but without surprise, he sees that the door is lock. He can see the lock have an hole for a key. During all that time, the rat and the bird but seems to be quiet.

[SBLOCK=OOC]Round 3 actions:
Move 20 feet (Move action)
Try to open the door (Standard action)
Watch the rat and magpie (Free action)

Next action will be in round 4...[/SBLOCK]

(How high is the magpie hole? Does 'top of the wall' mean that it is high enough for disqualification?)

"Interesting." Semabin hustles to the door to check that it is indeed locked as the scenery would have him believe, on the outlook whether he sees anything glitter in the holes as he passes.[/sblock]

[sblock=Velmont]"Hmm, the key must be in one of these holes, and is likely to be in one of the holes that the rat and magpie are in." Deos considers briefly which hole to search in first, and then decides on the magpie's hole. He moves over so that he is beneath it, and tries to climb up to it using the other holes as hand-holds, taking care not to stick his head above the wall and disqualify himself.

OOC: I'm assuming Deos can get to a position to look into the hole the magpie is in without also looking over the wall.[/sblock]

Deos moves to the wall where is the hole where the magpie have dissapear. As he approach, he spots twigs and herbs coming out of the hole, probably the nest of the bird. He looks at the wall, and he think it could easily by an average person, but Deos knows he isn't one, his studies having weaken his body a bit. The hole is eight feet high, just a bit out of reach, but he estimates that if he had to fall from that height he would suffer no damage, just lose some time. He also doesn't fear to be disqualify, as teh wall are 10 feet high.

[SBLOCK=OOC]Round 4 actions:
Move 20 feet (Move action)

Deos can still do a standard action for this round. Still want to climb with these new informations?[/SBLOCK]
