I also vote for C2- the Tower of Invertedness (sp?). There are some annoying bits (like the soul sucking crystal at the end), but overall I think it is one of the best. It has one of the best pieces of art from 1st ed as well- the fighter and the fire giant swinging at each other.

I know it was set for Expert, but one of my favs was X2 Castle Amber. A werewolf, a 100 HD colossus, potions of time travel. All for characters 3-6!!!! This was D&D at its best.

UK4 and UK6 are truly amazing. It is a pity that they aren't better known. (UK2 and UK3 are also good.)

L1 and L2 are very good as well.

I, too, am partial to the Ghost Tower of Inverness. I remember playing that one as a kid, using my near-memorized AD&D Adventure Gamebook based on the module as a guide to what was ahead. Didn't know it was cheating then...

I also remember being irked that my cleric didn't have enough cash for a magic axe. I didn't quite understand that clerics were forbidden axes

I expect GDQ by a landslide in this vote.

T1-4 Temple of Elemental Evil was the beginning of the end for ADnD. it was laden with mistakes and was just utter crap.

Aargh, this almost too hard. Just one? I'm torn between either U1 or I6. I have some very fond memories of both.

...well, I finally decided to vote for U1.
