A succubus is 6 feet tall in its natural form and weighs about 125 pounds.

Combat
Succubi are not warriors. They flee combat whenever they can. If forced to fight, they can attack with their claws, but they prefer to turn foes against one another. Succubi use their change shape ability to assume humanoid guise, and can maintain this deception indefinitely. Their preferred tactic when dealing with heroes is to feign friendship and create an opportunity to be alone with one of them, whereupon the succubus applies her life-draining kiss. Succubi are not above taking on the role of a damsel in distress when encountered within a dungeon.

A succubus’s natural weapons, as well as any weapons it wields, are treated as chaotic-aligned and evil-aligned for the purpose of overcoming damage reduction.

Change Shape (Su): A succubus can assume the form of any Small or Medium humanoid.

Energy Drain (Su): A succubus drains energy from a mortal it lures into some act of passion, or by simply planting a kiss on the victim. If the target is not willing to be kissed, the succubus must start a grapple, which provokes an attack of opportunity. The succubus’s kiss or embrace bestows one negative level. The kiss also has the effect of a suggestion spell, asking the victim to accept another kiss from the succubus. The victim must succeed on a DC 21 Will save to negate the effect of the suggestion. The DC is 21 for the Fortitude save to remove a negative level. These save DCs are Charisma-based.

Spell-Like Abilities: Caster level 12th. The save DCs are Charisma-based.

At will - charm monster (DC 22), detect good, detect thoughts (DC 20), ethereal jaunt (self plus 50 pounds of objects only), suggestion (DC 21), greater teleport (self plus 50 pounds of objects only).

Summon Demon (Sp): Once per day a succubus can attempt to summon 1 vrock with a 30% chance of success. This ability is the equivalent of a 3rd-level spell.

Tongues (Su): A succubus has a permanent tongues ability (as the spell, caster level 12th). Succubi usually use verbal communication with mortals.

Skills: Succubi have a +8 racial bonus on Listen and Spot checks.
*While using her polymorph ability, a succubus gains a +10 circumstance bonus on Disguise checks.

Isn't that the exact same infor that's in the Monster Manual minus the description? :\

Oh well, so ECL 6, so I can get a level of Beguiler then, right? :) Would these same stats apply to Incubi? As far as I know they're just the male version of a Succubus. I suppose I could play a Succubus, but I don't think I'd be able portray a female character very well. :heh:

Yea, it is - i'm sorry I guess i'm not the only one with a monster manual - i don't really have other info for a succubus PC. so yeah, you can get a level of Beguiler. And ditto on the stats applying to Incubi. (as you may have already guessed, I'm not too much into the nitty gritty- 3.0 edition is the latest i've read up on, and I still don't have a deathgrip on all the rules, so you'd probably have a better grasp of the rules and variants).

Well all I have is the 3.5 CRBs and the Forgotten Realms CS book... And Star Wars RPG... Point is, it's Planescape, so you probably know more about it than I do with just the Planewalker website and memories of Planescape: Torment.

Speaking of PS:T, when does this game take place in the PS timeline?

One thing I know is that I'll need the ability modifiers for making a Succubus/Incubus character if I'm not going to be using the exact Ability Scores from the book.

So I'm thinking that for whatever reason my character has semi-permanently used his change shape ability to transform into a human or somesuch. That way he won't know right away that he's a fiend. Sound good?

Dire Lemming, I guess I really did underestimate you sneakiness. ;)
I just now noticed that you were selected.

Have fun! :D

... or perhaps I need my eyes checked.....

Thanks free FreeXenon.

Sounds, good, How about if I can't find ability modifiers, we'll just make them up (both of us deciding on what's fair- I'll post it later today, and you can give me yoru feedback).

Also, the game is Post Faction-War.

ps. If you liked PS:T, you should check out this website:

I suppose we could ask someone on some forum somewhere...

Yeah, I saw that quite a while ago. It looks cool, seems like it's come a long way as well from that new trailer. Know if they're converted to using MotB since it came out? I don't have it yet and likely won't get it for a while since I just bought something else.

Hm, I forgot about Cambions . Male half Succubi. Oh well, what we've got works fine too if we can just find some crunch for it.

Ok, the stats they have for Cambions is the half Balor version, nevermind.

Nice!

The game with Azure is going well, though, it's been slow for the last two days (1 post from both of us yesterday, I'm still waiting for him). PBP is useful, but one caveat is that it's too slow, that's why I try and post multiple times a day for some (relatively) fast paced action! you seem to be a very, very frequent poster as well, so I'm excited about starting with you!
