A Red and Pleasant Land:

Format – Hardcover (with digital copy) or PDF http://www.lotfp.com/store/index.php?route=common/home

In a word – Evocative.

Zak S. has taken the rule of writing to the common denominator and thrown it out the window. This is an RPG book written for adults (or at least those who read at an adult level) but it’s far more than just another setting or a compilation of random tables.
A Red and Pleasant Land will take you somewhere you haven’t been before. You may think you know what you’ll get when you crack it open (yes you oh jaded RPG collector) but a whole different view of reality (unreality?) awaits you.

The basic premise revolves around a place not unlike Lewis Carroll’s Wonderland with (a not insignificant bit of) mind bending horror tossed into the mix. Wonderland has been touched on in the past with 1E modules Land Beyond the Magic Mirror and Dungeonland but not like this. However you find yourself wandering into the Red and Pleasant Land (fall through a mirror, take the wrong turn down an alley, assuring your DM that you really DO want to step through that functioning planar gate) you will quickly realize that this is not the place you were just a short while ago.

Some of this material has been published in Zak’s blog http://dndwithpornstars.blogspot.com/?zx=1466305cae58171d (NSFW in some cases) and he occasionally posts notes from his game sessions there so you can get an idea of the sometimes scary, sometimes zany (I really couldn’t come up with a better term), but always entertaining ideas that rattle around in his head.

While this book has been published for use with Lamentations of the Flame Princess RPG, the majority of the material included can be used with any edition of any RPG. With the inclusion of demi planes in the 5th edition cosmology the Red and Pleasant Land can be dropped into any campaign without impacting your geography (updating the stats for creatures shouldn’t be that difficult as you can use a conversion tool designed for 1E in a pinch although some will need to be custom built).

I saw these on Google:

Im considering introducing this material in the new 5e fairytale campaign I'm starting (and also Lamentations of the Gingerbread Princess). My intro city is a bastard child of Zobeck (kobold press) and Vornheim, so it's already partway there. Im hoping the hard copy I ordered arrives soon

Thankfully the PDF came with the book so I can start digging into the goodness right away. The tables are amazing (items found like 3.5 liters of glue, lol). I think I will be sticking with the demi plane idea for the setting as it will make a great break from a typical fantasy game or even a Planescape campaign.
