wisdom is much more about understanding and dedication ( i.e. the tools for the Teachers )

Nonetheless, in 5e wisdom is the saving throw for: Toll the dead, vicious mockery, cause fear, charm person, command, compelled duel, disonent whispers, hideous laughter, detect thoughts, enthrall, hold person, mind spike, and suggestion, etc.
Feel free to design your own game with your own mechanics.

ok, of course there is room for a sub-ability based on Wis x Cha

Charisma is the saving throw for: bane, calm emotions, and zone of truth etc.
I'd be open to players arguing for the use of a different saving throw in limited circumstances.
