Rain halts at the silver lettering and motions for her companions to do so. In an answer to Sabynha's question, Rain offers one of her own in a low voice, "This may be the cave of a sacred oracle once honoured by the Black Eagle tribe back in the days when they roamed these woods; perhaps one of us might politely divine where those that we seek are to be found? It may be politic to do so before we go any further."

Gray, uninformed and not knowledgeable in anything historical (other than that which pertains directly with his martial arts form) silently pads along with the others in the group. While the others were busying themselves with gaining more treasure, Gray was replaying each moment of their last battle over and over in his head, inspecting his opponents movements and his own, in an attempt to figure out what went right, what went wrong, and how he could improve in both areas. It wasn't until the echoing sound of "ask...ask...ask..." reverberated in the chamber that he snapped out of his self-imposed daze and paid attention to what was going on. Hearing Wat call out, he waited with baited breath to see if the Jovenite would cause them to be rewarded, punished, or neither.

A second ripple of magic rolls through the tunnel. Next to the silver letters a small silver whistle manifests.

GM: The group gains a Lesser Tuathan Road Whistle (level 5 common wondrous item).

After a brief examination those trained in Arcana can understand how the object works.
For those who don't have access to the CBuilder or Heroes of the Feywild 1/Day you can blow the whistle while imagining a place where you have already been and a silvery path only you and allies are able to see appears and remains until you take an extended rest.

Note that it only leads to places you have already been.

This object is not for anyone in particular; for now it is a group item. At end of the adventure someone can claim it if they wish to keep it as part of their 'expected wealth levels'

Zuri enters the chamber alongside Gray, and scans it while the others are speaking at the oracle. She notices small piles of metal and stone on the ground, and touches one with her toes lightly before noticing a pair of stone dice.

"What are these, then?" she says softly, bending to pick them up.

Zuri's question echoes through the cavern, and then reverberates back down the passageway from which you came. Finally dissipating into silence as it goes. A moment later, the sound of her voice returns from the subterranean darkness and gives an answer in words that are not hers.

"You hold the undigested excrements of the creature that until recently inhabited this passageway."

OOC: Is there anywhere to go in this cave from here?

If the whistle was a direct response to Wat's question, then perhaps it suggests that they are somewhere we've already been, but we've been lots of places.

Does anyone want to ask a question about the xivorts? Surprised we haven't seen any yet.

OOC: Maybe the Lovers actually got past the Jelly and went into the Oracle's cave and we'll need a proverbial ball of string to get the ourselves and the Oracle's unwanted house* guests out again and not necesarily by the same entrance in?

The house* could be a Labyrinthine cavern.

jbear, we did enter from the North Western passageway on the original map, didn't we?

OOC: Indeed, you did enter from the North Western passage, that is the way back out of the cave.

The passage you are in continues on, descending and growing wetter as it does so.

Zuri's nose wrinkles as she drops the dice back on the ground and wipes her hand on her pants. She sniffs it surreptitiously as she moves quickly through the passage, looking down where they haven't yet gone.
