Brenn hesitated for only a moment. Then he dashed up onto the rocks and fired an arrow at the wereforged. The first arrow plinked off the creature's armored hide- the second struck the beast directly between the eyes; while it bounced away, it had to hurt a bit. The third arrow sank into the ground beside the creature...

Dorn hesitates a moment. Must I attack my friend? he thinks, sadly. But he quickly realizes their only hope is to subdue 'cur' Exy as quickly as possible. Dorn conjures freezing, biting rain, slowing the dazed beast. (Ice Dragon's Teeth hits for 22 cold damage and 8 furious assault damage. Exy is slowed TENT Dorn.) Dorn takes his cue from Brenn and quickly backs away. (Move off map two squares south of A21)

"Get back! Get back! I've slowed him for now!"

Jax suddenly moves in for the attack! "We'll just have to knock some sense into you!" he says while making a jab with his dagger. The blow is lucky enough to rupture an internal fluid line of the forgedwere's front leg, compromising his battle stance (at least until his repair systems kick into effect). Recognizing the opportunity, Jax follows up with a blow from his offhand weapon that he normally uses for parrying. That strike scores a hit on the other leg.

Not wanting to get bitten, Jax heeds Dorn's warning and retreats to a safe distance.

THERE IS NO ESCAPING YOUR DESTINY. Cur Exsixten booms out. A panel on his back opens up and a strange blue light flashes, causing Andras and Quagmire to stagger closer before they realize what's happening. MWAHAHAHA, JOIN THE PACK OR DIE!

He claws into them and rears back to do more, but gears grind and pneumatic servos strain as the arrowhead of Brenn's arrow interrupts some mechanism.

Cur Exsixten fixes the issue by slamming his head into Andras, the arrowhead shattering and freeing up the warwere. Auto-repair mechanisms patch up most of Cur Exsixten's leg damage inflicted by Jax.

OOC: Short Turn Summary: Cur Exsixten is at 5+455/500hp in the same location. He has +1 AC/Saves and is slowed with vulnerable 5 cold.
Quagmire is pulled adjacent, takes 27 damage, is marked, has -1 AC(save ends), and takes 2d12+3 more damage and is slowed if he starts adjacent to Cur Exsixten.
Andras is pulled adjacent, takes 55 damage, is marked, has -2 AC(save ends), and takes 2d12+3 more damage and is slowed if he starts adjacent to Cur Exsixten.

Jax darts right back into the fray, somehow dodging the fangs and claws as he gets close. He makes a dramatically long backswing and then slams the hilt of his dagger into Cur Exsixten's face. The forgedwere collapses to the ground in a heap.

As Jax prepares to finish him off with one stroke, he realizes that he would actually feel guilty about killing his friend. What a new, terrible feeling that is! It's enough to throw off the kobold's aim, and his blade only glances off Cur Exsixten's body armor. The force of the blow wakes up the forgedwere, who is still not in the best of moods. Jax, working on instinct now, lunges at his friend with a dropkick that sends him sliding a few feet across the dirt.

OOC: Cur Exsixten is now prone in H18.

Nice round Dekana! Strange to be cheering on the person who's beating the hell out of your character, but even with that Nat1 that was some serious damage.
