[Adventure]: Bosch's Revenge (DM: Dimsdale, Judge ??)

How did skaliss nad quan get so far ahead? I used 1 move action not 2...do we have full round to position ourselves or no limit at all? If that is so, Rocco would've followed 2 squares behind the druid...

OOC: DM said "Place characters anywhere on the map." I suspect he just stuck us somewhere so we'd be on the map, and maybe spread us out so as not to give away the starting location of the enemies (which will surely arise from the murky waters).

I moved Rocco to be within 2 of the druid. I also moved Halleck to the same relative position. Tenchuu, return him if I was too free with that.

[sblock=Guardian's Counter]
(Encounter Immediate Interrupt Close burst 2 ✦ Martial)
Target: Targeted ally
Trigger: An ally within 2 squares of Rocco is attacked and Rocco is not included in the attack
Effect: Rocco and targeted ally shift up to 2 squares, swapping positions. Rocco becomes the target if the attack. After the attack is resolved Rocco may make MBA vs the attacker
[/sblock]
if something attacks the druid and not Rocco. Rocco makes MBA against the attacker after the attack resolves

Also, Rocco is wearing Counterstrike guards for arm item (shield and dual-threat are stashed away)

The creatures come forth as from the tunnel openings. Three floating spheres of terror, each with a huge eye float twenty feet above the ground.

Ah...dinner is served!

Wait...they are armed!

What type of trickery is this! You will pay for this.

I will not be a part of this any longer. Be gone!

I believe they plan to resist

Ooooh...a game! Yes yes! It is no fun when they just sit there while I eat them.

Let's kill the that one first!

The three enemies zero in on the druid, blasting him with fire. The druid screams in pain as a result of the brutal attacks.

ooc: I just read Neurotic's post. I have recon my post. Rocco will be attacked by one of the beholders. The other two will attack the druid. Rocco gets an attack, but can you hit a foe 20' above you? I have some errands to do. I'll recon this later on this evening.

dimsdale, depends on whether you allow a jump 3 squares up as MBA :) No, I cannot attack that far, simply attack the druid. If something smacks him later in melee I can react.

Glug: Ohhhh...dibs on the dwarf! My favorite type of meat!

Quan does not wish to lose the element of surprise. He draws one of the new arrows from his third, smaller compartment of his quiver. The arrow trailing a brightly colored white tail just misses the floating orb, sailing far into the cavern's darkness.

"Oh, aberrations! I'll enjoy this, druid! Feels like home."

calls Nementah as Primera gallops over the air and water, charging just under one of the beholders and stabbing it with her horn.

The beast widens its eyes at the surprise attack. The energy released goes to waste as there are no companins next to Primera.

"Focus on one of them if you can. I cannot bring them lower!"
