Not being able to see a better option with his head still swimming, Hrav closes with the halberdier. Thankfully, the bugbear's senses finally clear, and he grins viciously at the human, a grin promising large amounts of pain.

[sblock=Upstairs]Girth blasts the mage as he tries to escape through the door. A moment later, the mages dead body lies bleeding in front of the door while the key remains in the lock.

Quagmire moves past Beyrk, attacking and distracting 'Kauldron' from his attacks on Dang't and letting the goblin slip away. Sadly, the attack fails to pierce the defenses of the foe.

Beyrk shouts loudly, knocking 'Kauldron' back into the corner and shattering the stained glass windows in the eastern wall. Quagmire and Dang't take advantage of the opportunity to move to better positions, while Beyrk moves up to corner 'Kauldron'.

Safe finally, Dang't uses his magic to knock the crazy 'Kauldron' off it's feet and injure it enough to slow it down for a bit. On the floor, 'Kauldron' writhes in agony as it tries to rise, but slumps down and stops breathing as a bloody pool grows around it on the floor. As it stills, the form changes from a plate clad goblin into a humanoid with white skin, white hair, and blank white eyes which stare lifelessly at the floor.[/sblock][sblock=Downstairs]Hrav moves forward to the guard before his head finally clears and he makes ready to dish out some pain soon.

Kauldron shifts away from the attacking 'Hrav' and readies himself to attack anyone threatening him once more. From the next aisle over Kauldron hears someone walking. From around the corner of the bookshelf, 'Girth' appears and attacks the goblin causing him further confusion but no harm as the corner of the bookshelf helps block the strike from landing. Kauldron unleashes his own attack in defense but misses the target as well.

The guard in front of Hrav slashes the bugbear across the chest with its halberd, but does not draw blood yet. The guard then shifts back a step towards the door leading to the garden. A loud scream from upstairs followed by the sound of shattering glass makes you wonder how the battle is faring for the others.[/sblock]

[sblock=OOC]Couple of things right off the bat. Kauldron wouldn't of taken an OA from "Hrav" that round cause of Goblin Tactics allowing him to shift during "Hrav"s turn then move in Kauldron's turn safely. Not that it matters he missed anyways, heh.

Also "Girth" would of hit Kauldron (me). Rolled a 12 + 8 (Base Attack) + 2 (Combat Advantage) = 20 vs. AC. Cover does not effect an adjacent creature in this case (Can draw a clear line of sight to all four couners of Kauldron's square), as well as Kauldron's mark doesn't help save his own rear, sadly. That and I missed with the enfeebling strike.

So damage away. I'll just roll the extra d6 for having CA over me.

Sorry not trying to rule lawyer here. Just tryin to help out with the rules is all.[/sblock]

What....Girth?


*His eyes grow wide as he's taken by surprise. The blade bearly nicking him as he brings his shield up to bare. More blood starts to pool and seep around him.*

WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE!!!!

*He shouts out at 'Girth'. Looking down the opposite way of "Girth" He spots the last guard still standing. Then spots the door as well.*

Screw this I'm out of here.

*Turning he bolts down the row of shelves he just came from giving 'Girth' a free stab at his back. Which he takes with pleasure. Then blade digs deep into Kauldron's back, blood splashing the rows of books he now bolts down.*

Argh! Damn you Girth!


*Bolting to the end of the row he slides to the side and crashing into the end wall before bolting down the back aile of the library. Spotting Hrav as he went by.*

I see. Your all out to get me now are you. Trying to find me. HA! take more then just one of you to put me down!

*Skidding to a stop, he pivots to the right and looks at the guard blocking his exit.*

Just you left in my way pal.

*His hand reaches across to his chest divine energy flows over his body as he heals himself. Then charges the guard. The little iron kettle is like a tiny steam train slamming into the guard hard. His blade flash out quickly and plummets deep into the man's gut.*

Hearing the yell, Dang't looks down to see Kauldron. Again. Hey! You poked Dang't. How you go from dead up here to live down there? Then he remembers Other-Kauldron's wierd shape melting. Maybe not Kauldron after all.

Dang't moves around to see what he can see.
