In a perfect demonstration of mental lapse, Vermitrax retrieves a vial of purple liquid and another, smaller vial of red liquid, but forgets what's the correct proportion of one into the other. He mixes, apparently too much of the red component, and a violent reaction is ensured, bubbling acid quickly shooting up the purple vial. To save his hands, Vermitrax throws the acid bottle in a random direction, while swearing at his feeble memory. By virtue of pure casuality, some of the acid splashes the Corruption corpse.

OOC: Somehow, CC takes 1 acid damage after two 1s.

The large zombie falls from the attack of the monk. Two other zombies fall as well, one from the blade of the barbarian and the other chomped in half by the dragon. Zhane swarm of insects cause the foul smelling corpse to moan in pain as well as destract him leaving his guard down. It still manages to fling a ball of filth at Zharne, hitting him square in the chest. Zharne feels weakened by the attack.

However, this creates an opening for the construct, which stands PRIMED and ready (ooc: sorry...I couldn't resist :))

Vermitrax simply moves away with a quick backstep, and unleashes a bolt of purple energy (MM on CC) that hits the corruption corpse unerringly.
