[Adventure]: The Mark of Trogdor (DM: Dimsdale, Judge ??)

Neurotic

I plan on living forever. Or die trying.
[sblock=Party surge optimization]
SUMMARY: Vimak comes behind Rocco in defensive state, ranged PCs attack Grakk, melee remaining wolf (Skaliss and Halleck)

everyone steps back and throws things at the beast. If Grakk attacks Rocco, so be it, I'm ready. Vimak could help by being behind Rocco to grant DR and attacking with reach. If Grakk shifts to attack someone else, Rocco punishes him, shifts adjacent and continues pestering him.

Even if Rocco spends 4 surges over this fight, it's better then everyone spending 1 (total of 7) - between Quan's and Raijin attacks and Rocco's and Vimak's melee and maybe some readied attacks by Skaliss and Halleck if Grakk moves we could end this without much blood spilled

Don't listen to Neurotic. I suggest that everyone drop their weapons and let the giant worg rip you all up into bite size pieces. :)

[sblock=strategy]Since no was is readily available for Brash Assault vs wolf, I will focus on the big fella.

Rocco healing now, but saving withering courage until we are in better position to use it.

So I hit, and Worg missed, but so did Rocco. At least I have +5 defenses vs Worg thru his turn.
[/sblock]
"Keep strong, Rocco. We can defeat this monster together," Halleck said, inspiring his ally.

The leader struck the brute quickly, dealing a deep cut and drawing it's attention. He blocked the creatures blow, but Rocco missed an opportunity to blood it further.

He moved his feet to make himself a harder target to hit.

[sblock=Note to other Players: Bravura]
Halleck has the Bravura Presence:
When an ally who can see you spends an action point to take an extra action and uses the action to make an attack, the ally can choose to take advantage of this feature before the attack roll. If the ally chooses to do so and the attack hits, the ally can either make a basic attack or take a move action after the attack as a free action. If the attack misses, the ally grants combat advantage to all enemies until the end of his or her next turn.

Melee characters might also want to save their AP until I hit with Withering Courage, so they can double dip on the +5 damage bonus.

1. Thorkelson, a bald, tattooed man, entered the hangman's tavern and recruits Halleck and Vimak for a job. Thorkelson, needed some protection at the docks, but apparently had some sinister other motive, since he used drinks from the bar to drug Halleck and Vimak.

2. Wake up in the middle of a fight, being helped by strangers. Give the bandits a beating,

3. Get approached by the bandit leaders, who have two girls that look exactly like that one we want. The real girl is revealed, and natural, a fight breaks out. After we smash the goons, their leader, Hank the Tank comes out. And, eventually, Hank gets killed.

4. Get the real mission: deliver Lerrick to brother Buchta, so he can remove the mark of Trogdor from her forehead. The mark is in indicator to all that Lerrick has been chosen to be sacrificed to the dragon Bosch. Your quest as of now is to provide safe passage for Lerrick to brother Buchta so that he can perform the ritual. This includes taking her to the portal, traveling thought it, and then taking her from the portal to brother Buchta's place of residence.

Nementah recalls Primera and puts her behind the wolf. But instead of attacking through Primera, she focuses on Grakk. Unfortunately, having to pay attention to her movement over treacherous terrain and positioning Primera, she couldn't control the winds she summoned. After few moments of winter winds howling through the cave, there is silence again, without anyone being hurt.

First Post
The heroes surround the foe and attack, scoring multiple hits. The worg responds with viscous attacks of his own, with bleeding bites to Halleck and Raijin. His choice of attacks make him pay as Rocco buries his axes into the worgs hide making it stagger. The worg gains his composer and shakes away the effects of Quan's arrows. He growls menacingly at the heroes.

Meanwhile, the alpha leads Lerrick and the rest of her pack to a nook in the forest. She then scratches at the ground and digs up an orb, similar to the one that Lerrick saw brother Navio give to Skalisss. This one however has random colors of green and red that phase in and out of it's otherwise metallic color. She then gives instructions to Lerrick on what to do with it. Lerrick nods her head, giving the signal to the alpha wolf that she understood. The wolf then closes her eyes. The rest of the pack does so as well. They pack begins to bark and howl. The alpha begins to sway back and forth and the ground below her begins to glow...

The giant worg collapses from Rocco's blade. A strange silence fills the cave. Bodies lay everywhere, some dead...some unconscious. Smoke still exits from the cave due to the fire. Mounds of rubble are everywhere. You can hear the howling of wolves from beyond the exit. Halleck and Jaijin still bleed from their wounds.

OOC: Rocco, Quan and Raijin have taken their actions. What does everyone else do?
