OOC: Did you link the wrong roll here, the one you linked only shows a roll of a 12 on the die, searched for S1 on the site and there was another that had a 20, so I'm assuming just the wrong link. Also, how did it hit for 16 damage, 2d6+3 should max at 15? Finally, my immediate interrupt doesn't trigger when I'm hit myself, it only works for allies, so I would take the full damage from the attack.

OOC: I spent one surge after the last encounter so I should have started at 34 hp plus 5 temp hp from my attack, so even if I took 16 damage I should still be at 23 hp unless I missed something, and 10/11 surges remaining.

OOC: Yeah, I screwed that up didn't I.

4. And I missed the healing surge.

OOC: Haha, no problem. Mainly wanted to point out the usage of the interrupt and the healing surge. And the tmp hp I suppose :p. The 1 point of damage from the attack most likely won't make as much of a difference :)

Eva sighs at Kruor's display. "My 'food chain' demonstration wasn't supposed to include a robot eating a spider. I mean, now we might as well skip right to the decomposition lesson."

Eva grips her staff tightly with both hands and thrusts it in the closest spider's direction. At her command, an incomplete set of animated bones burst from the ground right beneath the spider's feet. The undead animal, in a sadly pathetic display, immediately falls face-first to the ground. Seeing this, Eva quickly animates a leg bone for her creation to use.

The skeleton, either a cat or a very large rat, bites and scratches mercilessly at the spider. While the wounds it inflicts are substantial, the arachnid stubbornly remains upright. But not for more than a few seconds. With no small amount of effort, Eva channels one more spell to conjure a bolt of force. It flies into the spider, impales it, and pins it to the ground.

AP-Standard: Magic Missile to finish off S2. Auto-hits for 8 force damage, killing it.

The allies' attacks prove lethal, killing two of the injured spiders. The third spider, after taking a shuriken to the face, leaps high into the air and attempts to pounce on Eva, but the spider's bite is easily dodged by the wizard. Graven makes the spider pay for its choice of attack.

Eva steps back from the spider and puts her back to the chasm. She redirects her staff to the spider and away from her skeletal cat, which promptly collapses into its component bones. The crystal at the end of her staff begins to emit a faint blue glow, and the huge ghostly wasp reappears. It flies to the last spider stings repeatedly at it. The spider screeches in pain, although it doesn't seem to sustain any physical injuries.

Ignus melds into Graven's shadow reappearing behind Kruor, and darts out with a flurry of attacks. However, the spider manages to fend off the kobold's short reach with its large legs. Ignus pivots back allowing Kruor some one to retreat if needed.

Would I need to do a check to climb back out? Says for going down there's no check required with a rope, doesn't say anything about getting back...
